L'Interpretation Syrah-Grenache

Label: Escape, an original work from the Tribeca series painted by Laurel Holloman.

Grape Variety: 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache - Pays d’Oc (Protected Geographical Indication) - Rosé vinification.

Viticulture: The grapes were harvested from 15-25 year-old vines. The vines are Guyot-pruned and trained on high wires. The soil is a clay and limestone mix. Sampling from random areas within the vineyard was conducted to check grape quality.

Harvesting: Carried out in mid-September, before day break from 3AM, to conserve the aroma.

Vinification and Maturing: All the grapes were de-stemmed and then cold pressed. Settling was also cold (9-11°C) and carried out after 48 hours. Fermentation took place at low temperature (15 to 17°C) to best express the aromatic potential. Maturing on fine lees ensured roundness and complexity. In January, the vats were sampled and the blend desired for L’Interprétation was made. The wine was bottled in mid-February after a light fining, stabilization and gentle filtration.

Tasting Notes: L’Interprétation Syrah-Grenache has an attractive, lively color with cherry highlights. The really fruity nose expresses raspberry, morello cherry and violet flavors. The mouth is delicate, smooth and finely balanced.

Service and Cellaring: Serve at 14-16°C. We recommend drinking with the next 18 months.

Technical: Alcohol: 12.5%

Unit price : 8€

The bottles are sold per case of 6
