L'Interprétation, The Perfect Blend of Art and Wine

Fascinated by the work in the vineyard and by the discovery of gourmet wines on arriving in the Languedoc in the late 1980s, Isabelle van Rolleghem and Susan Matthews, have been cultivating some 1500 vines since autumn 2006 at Saint Pargoire, a village halfway between Pézenas and the Château d’Aumelas.

In 2011, on the advice of a team of experienced enologists, they decided to create their own range of wines by selecting and blending the best vintages produced in the Languedoc terroir.

From the meeting between Isabelle and Laurel Holloman, a talented Californian artist, came the idea of linking the pleasure of wine and the love of art.

L’Interprétation was born!

Like discovering a painting, tasting a wine leads to the awareness of an emotion that has to be interpreted and expressed in words.

The labels are illustrated with audacious modern paintings. Distinctive, expressive attire to complete a truly epicurean moment.
